At Kid’s Comfort Organic we are excited to give our customers more eco-friendly and chemical free options with all of the products that we offer.
As in the past we have been, and still are, making our products with child safe varnishes and also have been meeting ASTM standards and consumer safety product standards on the construction of our products. However we are now offering an organic line of products for individuals who have a concern about being chemical free and are organic minded.
All Kid’s Comfort Organic products are made with solid wood materials. There is absolutely no plywood or particle board used to make our products.
All Kid’s Comfort Organic products are stained with a natural finish made with organic raw materials from plants, minerals, and other natural raw materials.
All Kid’s Comfort Organic products are finished by hand rubbing two coats of organic stain and one coat of clear natural organic wood finish. The stain and finish supplier we use is recommended by Green Seals Report at www.greenseal.org.
The Construction of Kid’s Comfort Organic Products:
-All products are handcrafted and hand assembled.
-All fronts, tops, sides, bottoms, backers, drawer bottoms, braces and partitions are made with solid wood materials.
-Absolutely no plywood or particle board is used in ANY construction of our products.
-All products are made in the USA.
-Mattress spring has four different height adjustments
-All cribs are made for standard mattresses.
-All cribs have been built to Federal and ASTM standards.
The Finishing of Kid’s Comfort Organic Products:
-All stains and wood finishes are from natural and organic ingredients.
-All stains and finishes are hand rubbed on products.
-All products get two (2) coats of hand rubbed stain and one (1) coat of hand rubbed clear finish.
-100% VOC free.
-Carbon neutral.
-No chemicals.
-No chemical preservatives.

Facts You Should Know:
The majority of water based finishes are made of chemicals and have chemical preservatives. Therefore, this does not make all water based finishes chemical free. Tung oil is made with chemicals and is neither organic nor chemical free.
